HISTORY OF FLARESIHGT AI
Flaresight started during our observations with solar telescopes in a school workshop. Looking at the sun, we saw not just a bright light, but an unpredictable system to which our technology-dependent world is entrusted. When we realised that events such as the Halloween solar storm in 2003 could cause billions of dollars of damage, the idea of solving this uncertainty was born.
Powered by artificial intelligence, our system analyses Continuum and Magnetogram data with CNNs and uses the Kp index to predict solar flares early and precisely and calculate their severity. Flaresight is not just a project; it is an important technology that protects the technologies of the future.

GET TO KNOW OUR TEAM
ABOUT US
We are a team of two high school students with experience in various fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics and design. We came together with a passion for developing innovative solutions in the fields of space science, artificial intelligence and engineering.
One of us has deep experience working with deep learning models that allow us to use AI to analyse various solar images with high accuracy. The other member has many years of experience in robotics, which allows us to prototype the integration of our system into satellites using 3D models. Both of us are confident that our project is an effective solution to the problem, and by combining our skills we aim to create an effective solution.
Flaresight aims not only to predict solar flares, but also to protect our technology-dependent world. As a team, we mobilise our curiosity and knowledge for a safer future.
