GESCHICHTE DER FLARESIHGT AI
Flaresight begann während unserer Beobachtungen mit Sonnenteleskopen in einem Schulworkshop. Beim Blick in die Sonne sahen wir nicht nur ein helles Licht, sondern ein unberechenbares System, dem unsere technologieabhängige Welt anvertraut ist. Als uns klar wurde, dass Ereignisse wie der Halloween-Sonnensturm im Jahr 2003 Schäden in Milliardenhöhe verursachen könnten, entstand die Idee, diese Unsicherheit zu lösen.
Unser System nutzt künstliche Intelligenz und analysiert Kontinuum- und Magnetogrammdaten mit CNNs und verwendet den Kp-Index, um Sonneneruptionen frühzeitig und präzise vorherzusagen und ihre Schwere zu berechnen. Flaresight ist nicht nur ein Projekt, sondern eine wichtige Technologie, die die Technologien der Zukunft schützt.

ÜBER UNS
We are a team of two high school students with experience in various fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics and design. We came together with a passion for developing innovative solutions in the fields of space science, artificial intelligence and engineering.
One of us has deep experience working with deep learning models that allow us to use AI to analyse various solar images with high accuracy. The other member has many years of experience in robotics, which allows us to prototype the integration of our system into satellites using 3D models. Both of us are confident that our project is an effective solution to the problem, and by combining our skills we aim to create an effective solution.
Flaresight aims not only to predict solar flares, but also to protect our technology-dependent world. As a team, we mobilise our curiosity and knowledge for a safer future.
